Because DNC Flow is in standalone preview and not yet installed directly through Google Play Store, Android's Play Protect may flag the package or prevent installation. When prompted, tap "More details" and click "Install anyway". If your device blocks the installation completely, follow Step 01 below to temporarily pause Play Protect scanning during setup.
Bypass / Pause Play Protect
If Android blocks the package: Open the Google Play Store app → tap your Profile Icon (top-right) → tap Play Protect → tap the Settings icon (⚙️) → temporarily turn off "Scan apps with Play Protect". Once the app is installed, you can turn this switch right back on.
Allow Unknown Sources
When downloading outside Google Play, your browser will ask for confirmation. Tap "Download anyway" and allow "Install unknown apps" for your browser when prompted. Your transaction ledger is stored locally on your device and is not synchronized to a DNC Flow cloud database. AI processing may still be used for notifications that cannot be confidently interpreted locally. Review our Privacy Policy for full details.
Grant Notification Access
After launching the app, DNC Flow will request Notification Access to detect transactional debits and credits automatically. When Android settings open, toggle the switch on for DNC Flow. On some Android devices, you may see a "Restricted setting" message. If that happens, open DNC Flow → App info → ⋮ (three dots) → Allow restricted settings, confirm it, then return to Notification Access and enable DNC Flow. Notifications are first filtered and processed locally. DNC Flow is designed to exclude personal chats, OTPs, promotional messages, and other irrelevant alerts, but notification formats vary and an ambiguous notification may occasionally be sent to the AI processing service for analysis.
